In step with its recent ventures in Nunavik, the Local Kangirsuk Kunoki Club took advantage of the Makivik Corporation annual general meeting in Kangirsuk, held from April 4th to the 7th, to showcase the activity of paraskiing to the delegates, with the participation of the local riders & newly trained instructors.

Despite a crowded agenda - and some cranky weather -, the Makivik delegates got to try and enjoy this new and promising activity for the Inuit communities of Nunavik.

Jobie Tukkiapik, KRG-Kuujjuaq, was lucky enough to be trained by one of the world best rider, Marc Henry (WISSA 2006 -Long Distance World Champion), and Etua Nasak, Kangirsuk's best rider. In no time he was riding like a pro.
